"Rebecca is an accomplished, award-winning singer/songwriter, and has been singing for as long as she can remember. Growing up in a musical home, she has been exposed to a vast assortment of artists, genres and styles from her mother, who is also a vocalist. Rebecca has been touring with the Queen of Percussion, Sheila E. since 2017 and most recently appeared in “The GRAMMY Salute to Prince” that aired on CBS in April this year; She also sang background vocals for Sir Elton John at the 2020 Academy Awards. Rebecca has over 27 years of recording studio experience. She has sung vocals on many different projects and has been featured in a variety of works, including being featured on two songs on DW3’s newest self-titled album that went #1 on the UK Soul Charts this year, and singing backing vocals on Aubrey Logan’s 2nd album, "Where the Sunshine is Expensive", which went #1 on the Billboard charts in 2019. Rebecca Jade & the Cold Fact, her original project, has earned three San Diego Music Awards and her Cole Porter album with Peter Sprague earned one, as well. Rebecca earned the “Artist of the Year” award for the 2020 SDMAs. She is also an actor and model. Rebecca graduated from UC Berkeley on a full basketball scholarship with a degree in Theatre & Performance studied and earned her MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. She has also advanced her musical education by studying Jazz Theory and Classical Voice at Grossmont College. She still plays ball recreationally."
