Being an exceptionally melodic collection, these songs have paved the path for Hinkfuss to impress you with their fresh sound. The energy of the guitars and drums supported by a solid, steady bass undoubtedly leaves an unforgettable impact on the listener. The vocals have so much authenticity and dedication towards stirring emotions that you can't hold back from humming or singing along with them. Both the tracks also show the intelligence and thoughtfulness behind the composition. The melodic input injected by all instruments alongside the vocals makes for a powerhouse of expressive lyricism, bringing about a heartfelt performance.

A wider sound upscales the sensational ambience throughout. The soothing yet tough energy in the first song is flawlessly balanced by a gentle and perfectly-paced second song, completing an amazing journey to the 'Castles in the Sky'.

About Pidgie

"Living with a physical disability, Inspiring Artist Presents Empowerment
Life is like a GPS. You may need to find an alternate route to get to where you are going but, with creative perseverance, you will always arrive at your destination!

Just Breathe”, the new record from Singer/Songwriter and self-proclaimed Renaissance woman on wheels; the differently-abled and exceptionally gifted former “Ms Wheelchair Massachusetts” Pidgie (Patti Panzarino).

One of the CD’s highlights is a powerful version of the Nina Simone gospel classic, “I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free.”

Pidgie recorded “Just Breathe” alongside a host of celebrated friends including Liberty Devitto (drums-Billy Joel): Scott Spray (bass-Johnny & Edgar Winter), Christine Ohlman (vocals, The Saturday Night Live Band), Bobby T Torello (drums, Johnny Winter/Grace Slick), Cliff Goodwin (guitar, Joe Cocker), Al Ferrante (guitar, Cyndi Lauper/Edgar Winter), Ron Rifkin (keys, Charlie Karp), and Bill Holloman, (horns, Nile Rodgers & Chic). Some select cuts include Flat-out rockers like “All Revved Up'' and the first single “Accessory”, as well as the dreamy, evocative title track and the poignant “They Took You Away”; an anthem for all those lost during these turbulent past few years. The CD was produced by multi-award-winning New England record man Vic Steffens at his studio Horizon Music Group. All In, a 2011 CD with her first band OLYPSYS, was a collaboration with her husband Vinny Rinaldi, who joins on guitar for multiple tracks on Just Breathe.

With the album’s release, Pidgie has made her platform, “Creative Perseverance”, the theme of her entire life.

"Creative Perseverance empowers you to reach beyond what you ever thought possible. It encompasses every facet of your existence: your home, job, education, health, relationships and your passions," she says. “Being able to tell my stories and feelings through my music is something I am forever grateful for.”

Born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Pidgie learned to self-advocate from her now-deceased older sister, who had the same disability and mentored her at a very young age.

"The more that people with disabilities push through obstacles and participate in life, the more people will really see us,” says Pidgie, “and our acceptance and encouragement to participate increases. It becomes an upward spiral.”

Pidgie’s dedication to the theme of empowerment is unshakeable.

“Many people think that obstacles can be just physical,” she says. “But that can be changed by laws and creativity. I believe the biggest challenge toward people with disabilities is the attitudes of others. I have always been one to look people in the eye and smile and say hello."

It is obvious that Pidgie has triumphed over obstacles her entire life. Raised in the Sixties and mainstreamed, she has lived on both sides of the Americans with Disabilities Act. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Hofstra University, becoming president of the organization for students with disabilities and taking two First Place trophies in wheelchair karate. She worked in both the corporate world and the performing arts world.

“There is always a song going through my head,” Pidgie remarks, continuing: “My influences run from Stevie Nicks to Natalie Merchant, Edie Brickell, Aimee Mann and Christine Ohlman. I sing with a lot of feeling. I reach deep down into my heart and pull it out.  Recently, podcaster Aj Wachtel said I sounded like Marianne Faithful 'who purrs, then growls’—I love that!”

Pidgie was a founding member of the Coalition for Disabled Musicians (CDM) and currently serves as its vice-president. She was co-host of a popular cable TV program and hosted her own live Christian radio show on disability and empowerment for two years. She competed and won Ms Wheelchair Massachusetts 2012 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Ms Wheelchair America Leadership and Advocacy Competition.

"I've been singing since before I can even remember. I write music the way I cook; I don't stick to recipes, I just add a little here and a little there to make a masterpiece. I like to think outside the box. I never liked paint-by-number or sheet music because it was too limiting. I like to sing by ear. I love to entertain, connect with people's feelings, validate them, and cheer them up when I sing."

She continues to advocate, mentor, and push through social and relational barriers to redefine the representation of people with disabilities in a more positive light. She finds that some relationship myths that can be confusing for women, in general, can weigh even heavier on women with disabilities.

But above it all, there is music. In another one of Just Breathe's romps, “Kick Ass Boots,” Pidgie takes aim at a cheating ex, truth-telling a la Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walking,” and it’s a joyous moment.

You will find Pidgie right in the middle of most activities, sharing messages of creativity and the power it brings. And now, with the release of “Just Breathe”, she joins the mainstream of American popular music—for real."

Rebecca Davis (DawgGoneDavis)
This is a collection of artwork that will take you back in time with its classic music blended with unorthodox melodic energy. The unrestricted presentation of style brings conversational writing focused more on communicating with the listeners. Instrumentals are mostly crafted as a supportive stream to push the meaningful lyrics. The overall production has a vintage or retro touch to it. The guitar has its fixed and powerful placement in all the tracks while accompanied by experimental jazz and synth instruments.

Variable compositions will make you realise that these songs are individually very expressive, they are not bound to any out-worldly rule, but are extremely grounded in the sense of creativity. The ingredients are just perfect enough to ensure a great time while listening to these songs. The main aspects of rap-rock genres dominate throughout this album's journey. 'Raybans in the Rain' has its own distinct brand value.

Definitely listen to 'Raybans in the Rain' by Rebecca Davis (DawgGoneDavis) on Spotify.

About Rebecca Davis (DawgGoneDavis):

"Three years after she gathered her first nine singles on the debut compilation Hot Dawgest Night (whose title was a wink to the classic Diamond live album), the adventurous, ever-evolving artist REBECCA DAWGGONE DAVIS has released Raybans in the Rain, a fresh collection of her last 11 smash hits. While giving longtime fans a chance to revisit her fascinating growth as a poetic storyteller and rapper, it’s also an incredible opportunity for newcomers to enjoy a feast for their ears.

Initially branding herself as DawgGoneDavis, Kansas City area songwriter, rapper and Indie recording artist Rebecca L. Davis came out of nowhere in early 2018 and hit the global Indie music charts with her hilarious autobiographical breakthrough smash “Middle Age Woman – Hip Hop Style,” which reached #1 on the influential Euro Indie Music chart and the top spot in Asia and South America.

Considering the hipster novelty of the track, DGD could easily have become a one hit wonder. Yet with an ever-expanding base of global and US fans from 16 to 80+ hinging on her every rhyme, clever twist of phrase and namechecking of classic rockers (from Neil Diamond and Tom Petty to Motley
Crue and Burton Cummings), Rebecca DGD has been an enduring phenomenon, with 20 hit international singles and counting. Her breakthrough success over the past four years has proven one thing – rap and hip-hop ain’t just for kids and hipsters anymore.

Five of the tracks on Raybans in the Rain celebrate her dynamic collaborations with longtime Snoop Dogg producer Chago G. Williams, whom she calls “one of the great hook masters of the world” whose rousing, rocking, provocative and intensely intuitive choruses have helped take Rebecca’s creative game to fresh, transcendent levels. Their latest, “Appreciation,” recently hit #7 on the World Indie Music Chart, and just as importantly, is a terrestrial radio smash in Canada, whose listeners are dazzled by Rebecca’s tribute to their homies, legendary rocker Burton Cummings and The Guess Who. She also fondly name checks The Who on this song. This success is the latest in a DGD-Chago hitmaking streak that includes the hard-hitting, pandemic era cuts “Darkest Hour” (#5 on the Euro Indie Chart), “No More” (#11) and “Clean Slate” (#7) as well as “Raybans in the Rain,” the title cut of the new compilation and a festive celebration of summer, Rebecca’s favorite season.

Beyond the Chago cuts, the new album boasts another key DGD collaboration, her emotional mid-2021 tune “Boulders Weeping – Cry No More,” which hit #6 on the World Indie Music Chart and featured a powerful vocal hook by former Gap Band member and gospel/R&B artist Dorian P. Williams.

The collection also includes her lighthearted yet poignant perennial Christmas hit “Here Comes Santa Dawg” (which hit the Top 5 on the World Indie Music Chart three holiday seasons in a row!) and a sublime revisit of “Butt On Fiya”, her 2018 single (#3 on the Euro Indie Music Chart), which, true to the autobiographical whimsy she brings to so many of her songs, found her mocking the breast cancer she beat and compensating for her removed mammaries with a genetically blessed rear end. The other tracks on Raybans in the Rain are her socially conscious, prayer like “Weight of the World,” a call to “Judge Not, Rap Yes” and one of her most playful, rockin songs ever, “Checkered Future.”
From the very beginning, the foundation of the DGD sound has been her ongoing creative relationship with the dynamic Euro connection she considers her massive music weapons – German Producer, saxophonist, flutist Hellmut Wolf and explosive electric guitarist Romain Duchein. On some of her early hits, their overall sound design included the intense grooves of drummer Jack T. Perry. While Wolf has always showcased his formidable sax skills on previous Rebecca DGD tracks, “Appreciation” allows him to shine on his Ian Anderson influenced flute playing with fills and a powerhouse solo that reflects Burton Cummings’ prowess on the instrument."

“I feel so happy and blessed to have connected and worked with such talented musicians whom I never would have crossed paths with had I never taken a big leap to become an artist,” Rebecca says. “Working with Hellmut, Chago and Dorian, among others has completely changed my mindset as to the kind of tracks I want to create moving forward. No soft love songs for me, but a big, bold sound driven by “rap and roll” and “rock & roll.”  I still write and rap the way I have always done, telling the stories in my life – and in fact, my upcoming song, which will feature Earth, Wind & Fire keyboardist Billy B. Young, is about my growing up in a small town and getting into very mild trouble. I love the way working with artists on this level has helped me develop my writing and performing, and my vision of what I can be as an artist. People look at me  and say, “how did she get to work with such huge talents? How did you make that happen?” “For me, it’s more that they hear and understand what I’m trying to do (and give to the planet) while we are all singing & dancing.”

The striking execution by Asher Laub gives you an in-depth insight into how talented this artist is. He puts the soul in the violin highlighting the intricate details which are necessary to bring out the colours of such a difficult instrument. A seamless flow of melodious and harmonious notes presented with a breathtaking rendition requires a lifetime dedication which Asher certainly possesses. Microscopic elements can be clearly heard and absorbed leading to a pitch-perfect and emotionally driven performance. This tuneful instrumental pursues and covers various essential violin bowing techniques to achieve accuracy.

The control over fading volume, vibratos, immersive multi-layering, blending of octaves and gently flowing through them shows the level of meditation of such a renowned musician on his instrument.

Michael M Jeni - 'C'est Moi'
Michael M Jeni is back with a melodic commercial vibe on a tight and spectacular Afropop which is the core highlight of this song. 'C'est Moi' establishes the classic and time-honoured afrobeat rhythm which at this point has become the artist's musical identity and personality. Michael with his influential vocals brings a wave of emotion that touches your heart. The music emphasises percussion rhythms and features elements that craft the ambience and surround you with its sentimental and meaningful aspects. The cosy voice has a quality that creates warm feelings while revealing a texture that beautifully portrays the flow and tone.

The catchy chorus gradually gets a build-up by the verses. The song can be defined as the cross-pollination of traditional African and modern pop music with a perfect balance. You can explore the melody standing strong on the consistent chord progression and mood that it triggers. The song involves you in it and quickly makes itself relatable. The wonderful melting ease of this song ensures its addictiveness. Turquoise Tranquillity - 'The Devil's Willow'
What does a true underground indie band sound like? Well, 'Turquoise Tranquillity' is the answer here! The art in this album is represented through the combination of various imperfections that are created and blended to bring a unique sound. The general dynamics of this album are covered mainly by the ambience or atmospheric tones that add a creepy and bizarre vibe to it. This is exactly what makes this band different, the strange and twisted feeling you get after listening to some of the songs is what is expected and this album nails it!

Along with the eerie and spooky music, there are songs that do have a base melody and instrumentals placed behind the mist of experimental and challenging production quality. This creative and innovative way of literally converting distortions, complex noises and gritty tunes into a dark, mystic and ominous energy will absolutely hit your mind with utter hysteria, no joke! To have such an intense impact, the composers have done a great job of understanding the intricate mix that invokes an otherworldly feeling.

Drums and guitar along with the bass establish a familiar rhythm and music which can be understood and followed. The vocals portray the title of this album accurately through their purposefully ominous yet appealing style and performance, making the lyrics intentionally obscure to keep the unnerving sensation high. The music is ingenious when it comes to vocals, as you can hear many voices singing in chorus in multiple octaves and harmonies as well as solo sections, adding more and more depth but with a sentimental core at its centre.

Such a demonstration of art can be explained with an example of some abstract paintings that may seem to have random strokes and patches at first, but gradually one understands the deeper meaning hidden behind them with a closer look! 'The Devil's Willow' is conceptual, it's a masterpiece born out of unapologetic raw aesthetics, guaranteed to give you a distinctive, unique experience.

Inspired by bands such as Nirvana, The Microphones, and artists such as Daniel Johnston and Elliot Smith, Turquoise Tranquillity crafted a creepy-sounding concept album with cryptic lyrics, unique mixes and a one-of-a-kind style, all recorded on a cheap microphone in a bedroom."

Thy Veils - 'Lina Luna'
'Lina Luna' feels like the sound of the cosmos. The never-ending stream of rich and melodic resonant frequencies that captivates your senses keeps thriving through the instrumentals. Prolonged and sustained ambient sounds have clarity and show commitment toward a highly immersive experience. The theme is spacious and has a larger-than-life impact through its huge textures. The mix is dense and focuses gradually on the performance of various articulations of transcendental vocals. The stunning textures have a warm and radiant tone that is flawlessly extended using immense echo or reverb effects. With such a dynamic original soundtrack, you also get a cosy and relaxing flow of multiple hypnotic synth pads blended with attractive vocals.

There are many ways in which this track can be explored and Thy Veils' thoughtfulness in this composition opens them to you. These mystic and otherworldly musical details are crafted with an emotional drive to it at its epicentre which swiftly pulls the listener to another dimension. The artist seeking the ultimate fusion of elements and showing passion through such an incredible, harmonious and tuneful track is noteworthy. It almost brings you to a meditative state of self-exploration. The perfection in technicality gives you a glimpse of the endless ways this song can be pursued and understood. The ability of this song to open the doors to many possibilities where every listener can find their own way to interpret it is truly magical.

Thy Veils - 'Lina Luna' - Frontman Daniel Dorobantu
Thy Veils - 'Lina Luna' - Frontman Daniel Dorobantu

"Before their upcoming album "Next Forever," Thy Veils releases 'Lina Luna,' a beautifully constructed song akin to the band's recent releases. Hovering somewhere between ambient, experimental, and techno, the band's records are as elusive as they are absorbing.

Thy Veils has a way of making genre distinctions look meaningless, as they produce a cosmic atmosphere around Maria Hojda's ethereal vocals. The band has always found new ways of using sounds as elemental and subtle forms of communication, accommodating many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular. In a statement, the frontman Daniel Dorobantu said, "For 'Lina Luna,' as well as for the entire new album, most of the production research went towards building a harmonious and coherent sonic universe, where a lively density of sounds, rhythms, and musical ideas interact and weave a multidimensional tapestry of storytelling."

As you dive into 'Lina Luna,' you can practically taste salt in the watery sounds and explore certain feelings along its serene yet engaging trajectory. Evoking the endless universe and pure openness of the skies, 'Lina Luna' is a song that is easy to get lost within, offering the much-needed escape from ourselves. With 'Lina Luna,' the band introduces Maria Hojda's musical vision. Her voice takes center stage, but not in a way you might expect given her vocal background. Her signature is marked by the striking intimacy and distance, feeling like she's whispering in your ear while you are numb.

Thy Veils approaches music with a different ear than most. Even more than before, Thy Veils finds a way to share a subtle tacticity to their ambient/electronic wizardries, allowing new shapes to be observed and universes to be opened with their mind-bending and dreamy soundscapes. 'Lina Luna' is accompanied by an incredible 4k video, which seems to impart the innate human desire to press pause on life's most impactful moments to take a peak."

About Thy Veils

"It is a concept turned into style, a minimalist and complex meditation. Born out of the reality of the past millennium, nurtured by digital media expression and communication, Thy Veils’ art speaks through a dense vision about exploration, experimentation and the search within the sphere of the undefined, movement in the quantum. Thy Veils started out as a studio project in 1995, headed by Daniel Dorobantu, and soon it became a pioneering name in the Romanian ambient music scene. After 13 years of studio productions, in 2008 Daniel transforms Thy Veils into an ensemble of performing art. By 2021 Thy Veils had self-produced seven studio albums, four live recordings and numerous singles, a DVD with non-narrative video essays, video art for live performances and video installations, and music for film and contemporary dance. Thy Veils’ live events are immersive audio-visual shows, transporting the auditorium towards the worlds within and the unfathomable depths of empathic comprehension and contemplation."

Starting with calming and melodic voice of Lauran Beluzo, the song pours its smooth jazz magic with its comfortable and resounding music. The warm and saturated resonance is uncovered by the playful nature of the instruments setting the mood flawlessly. The tuneful composition along with simple and attractive lyricism creates a pleasing, euphonious and soulful vibe that holds an abundance of love and affection in its context. Piano and guitar blend together in a unified form setting the dynamics and pacing gently with the rhythm. The guitar riffs and licks performed by Robert Lee are fantastic and go hand in hand with the theme.

A subtle layer of rhodes, bass and vocal harmonies support and ignite the energy, adding more depth and clarity to the feelings that are portrayed in this song.

"(New York, NY) - Mike Rogers and longtime production partner, Gary Lefkowith are collectively known as Le Sonic. Le Sonic reached the pinnacle of success when their first single, "Any Moment" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart!

Le Sonic’s follow-up release, 'I’ll Be The One', again features legendary guitarist from the Mysterians, Robert Lee - who co-wrote their 60’s mega-hit “96 Tears.” Recent American Idol contestant Lauran Beluzo is on lead vocals. She is also a two-time winner of Amateur Night at the Apollo.

Mike and Gary are veteran producers and songwriters who’ve had extensive careers. Rogers co-produced Deee-Lite’s "Groove Is in the Heart," honoured as one of Rolling Stone Magazines Top 500 Songs. Lefkowith is a recent finalist in the USA Songwriting Contest, and as a radio promoter has secured airplay for a wide range of artists – everyone from Elvis to Adele.

Gary’s thoughts & inspiration:

“Le Sonic’s June 3, 2022 release of “I’ll Be The One” is a rewrite of my first record release in 1976. I wrote this as a jazzy attempt at doing a traditional standard like “Fly Me to The Moon '' or “Misty,” when I was at Berklee College of Music in the summer of ’74. When I found my way from Boston to NYC, I made the rounds of the Tin Pan Alley publishing houses to try and place this song and others. While pursuing that approach I ran into some local musicians who had made their name playing at the Peppermint Lounge alongside Joey Dee & the Starlighters. We put our heads together about going ahead with a real record sans publishing deal. With Disco being a new rage, it was easy to adapt to that genre because the tempo was right around 120 bpm and the bossa beat became 4 on the floor ala Barry White. Our release even preceded the Bee Gees success. The rest of the back story is for my book”.

He continued, “Going fast forward to 2020, I wanted to revisit the song now that Le Sonic was pursuing a Smooth Jazz direction. I felt the lyrics had always been incomplete so Jean Leote lent her talent to give the song a better focus and deeper meaning. Mike Rogers did his usual and brilliant melodic tweaks, to further shape the song and take it to a higher level. Now the original Jazz vision has been realized for me. “I’ll Be The One” is what I wanted a woman to sing to me. To really sell me on herself and put her emotions on the line for my benefit. It’s selfish of me to want that but it’s what I wished for and what my wife Lyn gave me. The flip side of the original 45 was “Kanas City Woman,” and was written for Lyn even though she had lived in Wichita. That song was a finalist in the 1977 American Song Festival”."

Senses Reeling - 'At Least'
Easy to listen to and a beautifully simple, elegant tune that communicates with you with its emotional clarity. A retro touch to the music brings nostalgia along with the voice that mesmerises by its soothing quality and sentimental characteristics. The tune is addictive and quickly becomes an ear-worm and relatable. The melodic support of a clean guitar and violins in the beginning section builds up the core of this captivating composition with a very cleverly crafted bassline. Eventually, the subtle entry of the piano gently guides the tune and the rhythm. Putting all the dulcet musical elements together you get a mellifluous theme that delicately hugs the context behind the lyricism.

Throughout the song, as it evolves through various parts, the solo rhythmic sequence of beats becomes the transition that gradually carries you to the climax. It's a perfectly formed song to sing along.

Onzieb - 'Meet Me in the Middle'
Firstly, the track has some incredibly interesting and intriguing arrangements of various sounds that combine to form a soothing and calm track. With its electronic influence, this track has a very unique flavour boasting atmospheric and hypnotic qualities. The vocals bring all the elements together and deliver a smooth lyrical flow with equally fascinating energy. The music itself defines minimalism, consisting of remote frequencies that are smoothly mixed, adding a depth and immersive ambience perfectly supporting the mood of the song. The chorus is hard-hitting and well-placed between the evolving journey through the verses.

The wide bass tone has underlying chord progressions that emerge gently, and the flow of words performed by the artists is accurate and accentuates the emotional or sentimental aspect of this song. Its dynamics give a sense of relatability and pour a lot of feelings into your heart.
